Our History

Robert Haack, the founder of our company, established the business in 1948. Robert
had a vision to create an organization which would one day emerge as Wisconsin’s
leading “Exclusive Diamond Engagement and Wedding Ring Specialist” and become
“the most trusted and respected name in diamonds.”

Robert Haack retired in 1986 and Kat Morrow, an employee of the firm, became the
new owner and CEO. As she took the reigns of the organization, Kat began building on
the fine traditions set forth by its founder. Under Kat’s leadership and direction, we
continue to maintain the high standards our clients have come to expect. We focus on
delivering quality, value and excellent customer service.

Our Reputation

To ensure the highest quality standards for our customers, Kat earned her Graduate
Gemologist Degree in Residency at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She is
one of only a handful of G.G.’s (Graduate Gemologists) in southeastern Wisconsin.

Kat’s specialized diamond expertise allows her to individually hand select diamonds
for our clientele. We have a fine reputation for offering the “world’s most beautiful
diamonds” at a fair and competitive price. We are proud to be one of the Midwest’s
most trusted and respected jewelers.

This philosophy of conducting our business with the utmost integrity resulted in Kat
Morrow being named “Wisconsin Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.”  Kat, along with the
professional diamond consultants and the support staff of Robert Haack Diamond
Importers commit themselves each day to educating and satisfying the needs of our
clients with a caring and dedicated attitude.
